Walk and Talk Therapy

Walk and Talk -  Conversations while walking

In my psychological counseling, which I call "Walk and Talk", I use the positive effects of walking and nature.

Does this sound familiar to you:

Do you feel stuck in your life? You've tried several times to get rid of this feeling, and sought advice from friends or family, but you simply can't find the solution to your problem. The thought of having a conversation in a cramped practice room makes you uncomfortable, and therefore you have avoided professional help. Here a "Walk & Talk" appointment in the great outdoors could be just right for you.

Walking in the fresh air allows you to look at the issues that concern you from a different, freer perspective.

Does this sound familiar to you:

Walking can make it easier to talk openly about problems and rearrange your thoughts. The movement in the fresh air makes us more creative and gives us the chance to see the issues that concern us from a different, freer perspective. It is scientifically proven that walking in nature can effectively help against fears, stress, and depression.

Why is that? When walking, our two brain hemispheres can communicate better with each other. In addition, being outside increases the level of Vitamin D, strengthens the immune system, relaxes the nervous system, releases endorphins, and lowers the stress hormone cortisol.

While walking, I notice that both my clients and I become calmer. I myself benefit from the positive effects of nature, become more creative and can therefore respond better to you and your needs.

My work can be the first step to solving your problems. An important part of my counseling is to show the connections between individual problems and unconscious entanglements in your overall system. This could be the key to helping you with your concern."

What Does the Walk & Talk Method Bring You:

The 'Walk and Talk' method can help you better understand yourself. It enables you to recognize inner blockades that prevent you from achieving your goals.

We will work on your personal values, as these shape your personality and influence your actions.

With this method, you can gain distance from everyday life. You will find that rigid thinking patterns start moving, making it easier to develop new perspectives and solutions.

Once a good base is established, we go through your everyday life step by step and rearrange things. We look at both specific situations in your life and basic topics.

The fresh air and physical movement can promote your well-being. Feelings of stress, irritability, or bad mood can dissolve.

With new energy and courage, you can then return to your everyday (or work) life to put your plans into action.

During the consultation phase, there is the possibility to maintain regular contact with me by email and phone.
