Walk and Talk Therapy
Walk and Talk - Conversations while walking
In psychological counseling or «walk and talk», I use the positive effect of walking and nature in my counseling.
Does this sound familiar to you:
You feel like you are stuck in your life. You have already tried to get rid of this feeling several times, you have gotten advice from friends or family and still you simply cannot find a solution to your problem. At the thought of a conversation in a cramped practice room, you feel uncomfortable and have therefore avoided professional support. I think a Walk & Talk appointment in the great outdoors would be just the thing for you.

Walking in the fresh air allows you to look at the issues that concern you from a different, freer perspective.
Does this sound familiar to you:
When walking, it is often easier to talk openly about problems and to rearrange your own thoughts. By moving in the fresh air, we become more creative and we get the opportunity to look at the issues that concern us from a different, freer perspective. In fact, it has been scientifically proven that walking in nature is an effective treatment that helps against anxiety, stress, depression, etc.
The reason for this is that our two halves of the brain communicate much better with each other during slow, constant movement. In addition, being outdoors increases the vitamin D level, strengthens the immune system, relaxes the nervous system, releases endorphins and lowers the stress hormone cortisol.
When I walk, I not only notice that my customers become 'calmer', but also in myself: Walking makes everything more coherent overall. In addition, I myself fall back on the positive effects of nature, become more creative, am more with me and you, and this expanded clarity leads me to the solutions that I worked out together with you for your concerns.
My work can be the first step from the outside to clarify your problems, to make clear the connections between individual problems and unconscious entanglements with your own overall system is an important task of my counseling.
